What to Put in Your Email
- The date.
- The time you'll arrive.
- How many people, and how many of them are children.
- Whether it's a table or the back room.
- For a host visit, the part of Leipzig and the occasion.
We reply within one working day, Tuesday to Saturday. Two to five people never need to book, and the rest of the rules are on the visiting page. For a question about borrowing, the lending shelf page probably has the answer, but write anyway if it doesn't.
Hours
The kitchen, toasties and soup, closes an hour before the doors. Closed 24, 25 and 26 December and 1 January.

August, in Mira's Words
Every August we shut for two weeks, starting on the second Monday, and we open again on the Tuesday two weeks after that, at three. The tables get oiled, every box in the café gets the same count the lending shelf gets, and I go somewhere without dice for a bit. If you've borrowed a game, bring it back by the Sunday before we close, please.
